This Week in Restroom Graffiti

This little gem comes from the restroom at Angels & Kings, which is partly owned by Fall Out Boy guitarist Pete Wentz.

By the way, thanks for constantly pounding on the restroom door not 15 seconds after I got in there, douchebag. It’s locked. Wait. And if you have to go that badly, find a beer bottle and a dark corner.

    Erica: Yeah, I stopped by for a drink with a neighbor after my trivia gig. It’s actually one of the closest bars to my apartment. This is equally fortunate and unfortunate.

    I’ve never been in that bar but I very much like the bouncers who are outside sometimes. Twice I’ve parked in front of the bar in very very tight spots (the kind where at the end your bumper is touching both cars in front and behind) and they have applauded me, actual clapping hands. Parallel parking is the only skill I have, so it’s nice to be recognized!

    11th St. bar is actually much less divey than it looks like it would be from the outside. You may or may not consider this a feature.

    jennifer and Sarah: I’ve been to 11th Street Bar a few times - and almost always because someone in a group of friends has sung the praises of it. I’ve always been underwhelmed, but it may be because I end up there on a night where it’s far too busy for such a narrow bar… and generally, packed with NYU kids.

    Erica: Ha. I probably saw you and didn’t even think about it. I was there around 11 or so. I’ll be sure to say hello next time I stop by. From what I remember, the music was pretty good, btw.
