1849 Stickers Find Their Way South
May 12, 2008 – 11:27 amRemember those 1849 stickers that were popping up all over Manhattan last year? Well, they made their way well into Brooklyn, too. I spotted this one yesterday on 5th Avenue in Park Slope:
I said it before, and I’ll say it again: if you have to advertise for your bar like this, it can’t be very good.

those stickers have been around the slope for a while (like over a year). never had any idea what they were for, assumed it was for a band. it seems pointless to put them up so far away from it’s location, especially without any clue as to what it’s actually for- like the word “bar” or their website.
