the creepiest thing (aside from hearing birds at night) is hearing the mister softee song playing at about 11:45 PM.

Ohh topical! I saw a Mister Softee outside my building today and had the exact same thought. And despite hating the song, there’s nothing that makes me happier than a vanilla soft serve w/sprinkles. Yeah, I’m 5.
