On an L Train at 8:00 this morning:
Ladies and gentlemen… uh… this train is… uh… being delayed because… uh… there’s something happening ahead of us.
Well, at least he wasn’t lying.

I was on Metro North last night through that whole mess after the building collapse in Harlem; and I got more information by texting my friend (and she checked news websites) than from the on-board Metro North personnel. Gotta love it!
