I’m Not Quite Sure What To Do Here

(Seen in several locations this week, including at 10th Street and 1st Ave and 14th Street and 1st Ave)

Now, naturally, as a New Yorker, I just make sure I’m not going to get run over, then walk no matter what. But damn, you’ve got to think that those tourists are going to be stranded on corners for hours trying to figure out how to cross the street.

How come it’s always the White Man telling us everything is OK. It is safe. Proceed forward with your lives. Keep progressing and growing in your strides.

But the Native American hand, upraised in the welcoming “How” sign warns us against all that?

Wasn’t it Whitey who held the Indians back?

    Racist ass city!

That’s what the New Yorkers do when they move to Florida. They wait for a green light and traffic to start moving then they wave at you and walk out in front of you anyway.
