Oh, thank God! I was worried I was going to have to go to Times Square for my fix of real Italian food every day from here till enternity.

    RK: No, they don’t, because Olive Garden doesn’t serve Italian food. They serve rubbery pasta and sauce disguised as Italian food.

    One of the most entertaining meals I’ve ever had was at the Times Square Olive Garden. The thought of actually eating there, and the excited Eastern European immigrant aspiring actor/ server kept us entertained for the evening. AND free refills on just about everything!

    Man, the “I live in New York and therefore am obligated to hate Olive Garden” thing really grinds my gears. Sure, its not the world’s best Italian, but its not terrible either. I can’t think of a single Italian restaurant I’ve been to in 3 and a half years that I’d consider better.

    And I don’t believe kiki’s story. Only because I’ve heard it before here.

    What’s sad is that where I’m from, Olive Garden is about the best you can get. Be grateful, NYC.
