The Arizona Douchebags

I think Arizona Diamondbacks fans need to settle on a way to chant for their team. When the organ strikes up the four-note “Let’s Go (Team Name Here)” tune at Chase Field, fans are faced with two options:

1. Let’s Go D-Backs
2. Let’s Go Dia-mond-backs

Both options have their drawbacks. “Let’s Go Diamondbacks” is long and drawn out and bound to get a little messy. However, when tens of thousands of people shout “Let’s Go D-Backs,” it sounds a lot more like “Let’s Go D-Bags.” But the crowd can’t decide on one, so instead, the chant sounds more like this:

3. Let’s Go Dimoitrhioshgs

Not that it really matters. Given the size of Arizona’s fan base, the loudest chant at Chase Field is more likely to be this final option:

4. Let’s Go Cubs
