amNY Watch: A Six-Month Old Oops
There’s a mistake I’ve been catching for months in amNewYork. At first, I thought it was a simple one-time error, but now, after watching it go on for the entire summer and into the fall, I’ve waited to see just how long it would go on.
Well, it hasn’t stopped yet. And maybe - just maybe - someone will take notice now.
You know, if I ran a newspaper, I think I’d notify my advertisers if they were running ad copy that was horribly out-of-date. But, you know, maybe that’s just me. Or maybe it’s just that this is a free newspaper, and even when you actually do pay for something, you get what you pay for.

Courtney says:You know, does anybody from am new york actually read this blog and if so, have they ever said anything to you about it? I just think that would be funny.

Chris says:fbl: Yup. That’s all I do. I’ve been completely fixated on that for the past six months. Nothing else at all. You know, it couldn’t just be that I just happen to read the paper on my commute for amusement’s sake and see this mistake every single week. Nope. It couldn’t be that at all.

fbl says:Actually, I wasn’t being sarcastic. (I’m a grammar freak) I would’ve noticed the same thing about the ad. The difference is, you were on your way to a paying job while I sit home and watch Gilmore Girls.
But boy did that make you mad, huh?
