The Gadgets of the U.S. Open

There are some new-fangled devices that make the U.S. Open experience so much more enjoyable. Here are a few.

U.S. Open Radio is available through a tiny little plastic piece that clips to your ear, so you can hear the commentary as you watch the match. This device makes all the hardcore tennis fans in attendance look like members of the U.N. General Assembly.

U.S. Open TV is perfect for those tennis fans who want the experience of watching the matches at home from the comfort of their plastic molded seat at the stadium.

The Portable Heineken Beer Dispenser might be the greatest invention known to man. I need to rent one of these and crash a party. Technically, you become the world’s biggest beer bitch, but you also become the life of the party!

The NYPD Tower of Fun made an appearance, and I believe this is the first-ever video of the Tower rising to its prominence over the U.S. Open crowd. Thanks to Ben for capturing this moment on video. Ooooh! Aaaah! How… surveillance-y!
