This Week in Idiotic Misspellings
Not that we should expect any less from Duane Reade employees, but…

…seriously? It’s not like the name of the product is right in front of you on the label or anything.
And it’s a drink? Honestly, I thought I could eat Coca-Cola. Thank God Duane Reade spared me that embarrassment.

says:I’m more concerned that Coke is selling @ $1.39 for a liter and a half! #1 Drug Store my @$$. I used to work in a CVS and it was $0.99 for a 2 liter bottle. Ok, so maybe that was 10 years ago, but I’m still outraged!

says:Dude, drug stores are the only place you can get semi-non-insane-priced 2-liters in this city. The CVS on my way home sells 2 liters of diet Pepsi for $1.59. The deli around the corner? $2.50. Yes, that’s right, $2.50. Even the deli two blocks on charges $2.
Amazingly, I am so cheap I will walk on purpose to the CVS just to save $0.41. Sad.

says:Sarah: I completely agree. CVS and Duane Reade are the only places I ever buy soda. $1.39 for a 1.5 liter bottle may seem like a lot, but it’s $1.35 for a 20-ounce bottle at the bodega a block away.
And people wonder why I’m always broke.
