Yankees Fans: Not the Brightest Bulbs on the Tree

Sure, they’re easy targets, but as a Red Sox fan, it is my duty to make sweeping generalizations about Yankees fans based on the placement of this decal on a car parked on East 12th Street yesterday evening:

You have spectacular taste! Quite unlike the owner of that car.

ha, i’ve seen that before too…on a minivan.

the big question is, do they even know that they’ve fucked up? or do they just carry on their ways?

my comment is to shut up. There are plenty of idiot red sox fans in this world, too. Sports fanaticism is not relegated to the world of the Harvard elite. In summary, and in conclusion, you’re an idiot.

I’m confused… how could they stick it on backwards? Wouldn’t the adhesive be on the “backwards” side?

    says:

they put the sticker on the inside of the window, when it was meant to go on the outside, thus making it backwards when viewed through the window.

Yes, Dave. It’s called a show of solidarity with New Yorkers who hate the Yankees.

Perhaps, that person may NOT be a Yankees Fan & wants to show SOME Disrespect of their Yankees Arachnid, by the reverse placement.

It takes a big man to root for the Sox and still wear a Mets hat, even if only to stick it to Yankees fans. Much props. :-)

Hey Chris… where are those blackmail photos of you with a Royals hat on? :)

Solid. I am a Sox fan and also show support for the Mets, if only to stick it to that “other” team. Question though, do you lose your sense of world series title entitlement if a) half your fanbase can’t name the starting infield the last time you won, b) 2/3 of the fans in attendance at game 7 of the 2004 ALCS left after the 5th inning, or c) 92.3% of your fans are confident Andy Pettite never left, and that you’ve actually won every World Series since 1987?

    No? I didn’t think so.
